The Kochs have admitted - they can't control him. The people will vote for him. And Karl Rove is very quiet - we know he knows how to steal elections (saw the attempt in 2012) but I think he knows the numbers will be too high.

Trump needs Santorum, Fiorina, and Paul to drop out so he can grab the lead with a big spread. After that - Trump is the nominee.

Let's say Trump wins. I don't think he will live long making his VP selection very important.

The stroke out at the SOTU when he gets booed will do him in.

ETA - or a bad Botox procedure ;/)
