That he respects Krugman is part of his reason for his disappointment.

Mark Weisbrot is co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington, DC. He is also president of Just Foreign Policy. He has a PhD in Economics so I'm sure he can analyze what Krugman is writing and draw his own conclusions.
