2016 Postmortem

(58,785 posts)49. Well, their support has been badly weakened by his endorsing Hillary.
He could have them all back with him if he'd tell them what they want to hear, only he's not going to do that. Reportedly he will be making the case for her tonight. I plan to do an Obama watching coolly and analytically from my couch.
Those who don't like it will be booing tonight. Four days from now they'll be home examining their behavior under the spotlights of family, friends, coworkers. Some will be ashamed, some not.
105 days to November 8.
