5. edit button is now buried in a menu which will not open on my older version of firefox

cant edit my posts on my laptop now because the edit button is now buried in a menu which wont open in my older version of firefox. Is it really necessary to hide the edit button it behind a menu button? It was fine until this upgrade as a standalone button.
