questions about whether MFA would "increase taxes" on the middle class. I would substitute "avoided the trap" for "dodged the question".
Tweety and others were after one thing: a sound bite that they could run with, as in "Warren ADMITS MFA will raise taxes for most!" The truthful explanation that out of pocket COSTS (considering NO deductibles or copays, etc) would be reduced and leave middle class folks with more money in their pockets would never be mentioned by the "OMG---Lookee HERE!" media.
