6. I was on a ride-along one night
this car rips past us easily going 80 (this was back in the double nickle days) weaving across lanes with no lights. Cop says "this is a 502 for sure" and lights him up. He goes an easy two minutes before pulling over and bounces off the guard rail in the process.

Cop comes back to the car, and we start to pull out. "What's the deal?" I asked.

"He'd blow a two-point-five, but he works at the city attorneys' office. There's nothing I can do except escort him to the next Denny's and make sure he gets some coffee".
