i've read transcripts and the like, but 9/11 just gave bushco popular suppport. the public was reeling, and needed a strong leader, or one that appeared strong in this case. bushco exploited this to rally the american populace to war. they were going to invade in any case, but the WTC attack gave them an excuse. bush wanted this war, and the poor planning, irrationally vicious politics, and general corruption started in November 2000. 2008 won't come too soon, but unfortunately, it may come too late. And if Bush invades iran on the WMD tack again (fortunately he's just about used that one up), the Middle East will go up in flames, and it will be World War III.

Albert Einstein, after developing the A-bomb, said "I don't know what World War III will be fought with, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and rocks." Smart guy, that Einstein.
