A) There will be no draft - everyone knows that, though some will seize on drafts as political capital (on BOTH sides of the aisle)

B) It is scary that the language people use here with regard to having to give your information early is very similar to the language that NRA-ites use to fight gun registration - that being that the government is going to use the information for some nefarious plot (whether it be to send all of us on a needless war or to whether it's so they know what houses to go to first when they decide to put us in our place).

A word of advice: When you start to sound like your enemies, it's time to take another look at your message.
