Should certain gay repubs be OUTED?

To clarify, I'm not gay, (but who knows, I might check it out someday), and I'm always amazed at how certain seemingly gay republicans are quite heavily closeted and still harbor ill feelings toward gays as a political group or social class. Witness J. Edgar Hoover and Clyde Colson, they got away with being gay all the way to the end, without ever being outed, yet Hoover was one of the most virulent anti-homosexual outers. He used a gay person's closeted status as a weapon of blackmail against them. It's even rumored the the cross dressing Hoover was himself blackmailed for years by the mafia, who alegedly had a 'compromising photo' of Hoover. This may explain why Hoover denied the very existence of the mafia for years.

And his ickiest henchman, Roy Cohn was also a closeted gay man, who repeatedly black mailed and outed homosexuals whenever it suited his political purposes.

Now I want to know about a few contemporary, 'suspect' repubs.
I want to know about all those rumors I heard about Asa Hutchinson, and Lindsay Graham. And of course Matt Drudge, and David Brock come to mind. Gary Bauer, although he's married with children, strikes me as exceedingly gay. I could be wrong about all these men, but I love a good rumor about a blowhard sanctifier.

And what's this I heard about Rush Limbaugh? Couldn't be true right?
He's married, right?

Spreading ugly rumors is a tried and true repub tactic, and they don't even care anymore if the rumor can be proven or not, just that it's out there circulating and doing damage. The repubs themselves tried this tactic on Rep. Barney Frank, who became heroic in my opinion when he flatly confirmed his homosexuality and said, "Now what?" to the fascists. He's a mighty man for standing up and still being there after such an attack.

I may get flamed suggesting that homosexuals be outed, that's a touchy subject, that I'm probably not too qualified to argue, but don't you think it's an effective way to disarm this whole 'homosexuals are evil' bulls---? Just expose a few of these hypocrites and shut down all further use of someones sexual status as an instrument of blackmail and slander.

I frankly don't give a damn who is or isn't gay, and neither do they, and that's the point. Outing a few of these creeps might just take all the wind out of their sails.

p.s......and what about george bush the first? I've always perceived him as extremely effeminate and unmasculine.
