I think that is the absolute best analogy to describe the current horror. We are like a mammoth stuck in a tarpit being pecked to death by birds. This doesn't EVEN qualify, anymore, as a quagmire. We passed that point a long while ago.

Such stupid, evil, disgusting examples of living organisms, trying to run things, I haven't seen in my entire life. Could someone come up with a metaphysical reason why such lowlifes have congregated on this planet at this time in history?? Couldn't we have just had to deal with one or two of them? Or is it just that shit attracts shit?
