16. I was there
There was a full chorus of boos and it was quite loud.

It's just that Bostonians are solidly against the Convention which is closing their city, forcing people to take vacation or sit in gridlock. People support the candidate, but don't want the convention to shut down Boston. It seems like 90% of Bostonians are solidly, rabidly against the convention, so JK got booed. The people booing were the people who can't go to work for the next four days, or will miss out on 4 days pay, etc, or will waste time in their cars so that the elite media/dems can have a private party.

Of course, all the posters here will blame the boos on some various "wingnuts" without any proof, or any idea of what's really going on. Also, for those who ask Bush to do the same, he actually pitched a strike from the mound. Kerry pitched from the grass in front of the mound, and his throw didn't even reach home.

By the way Red Sox nation is not some right wing fan club, and the crowd was jam packed with conventioneering Dems last night. It was a GREAT game too! GO SOX

Anyway, I fully support JK but just wanted to clear up anybody's efforts to spin the booing into something it was not.
