17.  Interesting argument but I disagree. Bush will have to throw some red
meat to the Fundies. And this is what they want.Rove and Co don't care about having a wedge issue to use in the future because they won't need one. If they manage to do all the damage they have planned the repukes will never have to worry about reelection! If the vote is highjacked , who needs a wedge issue? But the support needs to be solidified and that is why they need red meat to close the deal. And after that we are in an even more dangerous situation. Bush has no one to appease. He can't run again, so he is a man with nothing to lose and that is frightening. I think we " ain't seen nothing yet!"
