First, it's better to provide the permalink so people coming later (like tomorrow or a month from now) can find the original.

But the real bone is that the first paragraph you quote is actually from Mahablog. Now, that's obvious if someone goes to the original source, but credit really ought to have been given to Maha (who used to post here -- does she still? I haven't seen her in a while). I especially think this is important since the post got the 3 nominations required for inclusion on the Greatest page, and should thus get more exposure than a lot of DU threads.
