56. "decisions must be brought about by other means"
It rings true, that the new fascist would lock us up for criticizing the Dubya Regime. We have a concentration camp at Gitmo and the Patriot Act has erased our rights. Don't think for a minute they wouldn't lock us up, it may be in our future.

"It is not enough to say we do not want Communism in our economy. If we continue on our old political course, then we shall perish . . . It is the noblest task of the leader to find ideals that are stronger than the factors that pull the people together. I recognized even while in the hospital that one had to search for new ideals conducive to reconstruction. I found them in nationalism, in the value of personality, and in the denial of reconciliation between nations . . . Now we stand before the last election. Regardless of the outcome, there will be no retreat, even if the coming election does not bring about decision, one way or another. If the election does not decide, the decisions must be brought about by other means. I have intervened in order to give the people once more the chance to decide their fate by themselves . . . There are only two possibilities, either to crowd back the opponent on constitutional grounds and for this purpose once more this election; or a struggle will be conducted with other weapons, which may demand greater sacrifices. I hope the German people thus recognize the greatness of the hour." (cited in book by Josiah E. Dubois, Jr., Generals in Grey Suits op. cit., p. 323)

The words, in fact, were spoken by Adolph Hitler, addressing industrialists who financed his 1933 election bid. Not much has changed, except for the labels and linguistic spin.

The results of these efforts to craft a topsy-turvy world that Nazis imagined would give corporate plutocrats oligarchic control can be seen.

It is because of the "bonding" of plutocrats that, for decades, corporate crimes against humanity have been blamed on either the people they victimized (i.e., Germans post WII), or the very dictators hired, trained and armed (bin Laden, Saddam) to serve their profit-making interests.

It is because of the "bonding" of plutocrats that, for decades, corporate media have failed to serve the public interests as whistleblowers, and instead played key roles in keeping the public in the dark.

It is because of the bonding of plutocrats that, for decades, peoples around the globe have hoped and expected "free" market capitalism, world trade organizations and industries were doing more good than harm to the world, when in fact the very opposite is true.

It is because of the bonding of plutocrats that, until 911, most of America and the world were convinced that the U.S. was a model democracy and that its citizens were to be envied because of the unparalleled "freedom" and high standards of living they enjoyed. Again, the opposite has been true.

In another revealing quote, David Rockefeller thanks the media for keeping the public in the dark. Speaking at the Bilderberger meeting in June 1991 in Baden Baden, Germany, David Rockefeller stated, "We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years . . . It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supernational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries."

In short, it is because of the "bonding" of plutocrats that, for decades, fascism was permitted to go unnoticed, thus, regroup to better position a cabal of plutocrats and their secret plan to dominate the world.
