You're not likely to find a partner in time for the holidays on the internet. And if you do, you should seriously question whether what you've found is a partner.

I'm not saying you shouldn't try it - it does occasionally work out - but it takes patience and nerves of steel and, in the end, comes down to pure dumb luck. And if you believe it's so very sad to spend the holidays alone, you're that much more likely to be fooled into something regrettable.
