38. Masons and Mensa
Neither of which are actually "secret" societies. Most Masons are more than happy to let people know about their belonging, sometimes pasting Masonic symbols on their cars, or wearing rings with the Square and Compass emblem on it.

Membership in Mensa is secret only because nobody outside of it gives a damn about it.

Oh, and I went to AA meetings years ago, so I guess I'm a member of that one as well. AA isn't actually a secret organization either, just one that is very secretive as to the identity of the members.

I guess I think of "secret" societies as being somehow inimical in nature, like the folks that hang out with the insidious Dr. Fu Manchu.

Or Halliburton.
