I'm 21 now. I was never sent anything by a recruiter, nor was I even approached by one. Of course, I was under treatment for anxiety/panic problems during my school years, and I actually left public school to complete my education in other venues. I've always figured that one of these two factors might've explained it, but I'm not complaining either way.

Have you tried calling the school again to inform them of the problem? There may be a delay in how long it takes for your kids to actually be removed, especially if it's computerized (what isn't anymore). I'd contact the guidance department over the phone or in person, myself.
