3. A lot of companies don't guarantee 40 hours
The company I work for has a yearly bid period for people who want to bid for full time status. Only those who are accepted are guaranteed that status and it's like pulling teeth to get it. It's a business that tends to fluctuate between busy and not so busy so they like to have most of their employees considered part time so they don't have to pay them when there's no work. That is, as I understand it, standard operating procedure in many companies.

You can't change anything by worrying. :hug:
