69. It's getting to be winter
I don't know if this is actually scientifically true or not, but it is harder to lose weight in the fall and winter. That is because that is the time that mammals traditionally hibernate, are more likely to face famine, have higher energy needs if we are active (staying warm), need insallation to keep warm, and are more vunerable to disease. The body is more likely to conserve fat and increase appetite if there is any danger of losing fat. You can try cutting things like sugery drinks and making lower calorie substitutions to try to get on the right track, but you will probably have better luck losing weight six months from now.
