cup and a half of rolled oats that I coat in 1 tbl melted Smart Balance or Earth Balance and roast in the oven. After those cool I add a 2 cups of chopped walnuts, and two cups of different dried fruit (usually blueberries and cherries from Trader Joe's). I melt one of those pound plus dark chocolate bars from Trader Joe's (or about a pound of any good dark chocolate) in the microwave and mix it all together. I drop blobs onto cookie sheets then keep them in a bag in the fridge once they've cooled. This recipe makes a lot, by the way.

All told, they come in at about 140 cals and 14 carbs per oz., but an ounce is a pretty good size. They are so satisfying and delicious, and they're packed with antioxidants, fiber and protein.
