He was gone from March 2 to April 9. I felt so bad for 'the Hermit', then happy that he got a new puppy, then Really happy that he found Angelo after so many days!
It looks like a wonderful place he's building, in a beautiful spot. I'm going to send a link to my friend's daughter and her husband who are building an off-the-grid house this summer in Maine....she's a second generation off-gridder!

I'm glad our rescued Border collie-Heeler has only wandered to two nearby parks (it seems to find someone to throw something for her!) When we caught up to her after our gate blew open and she had slipped out, she was dragging a 4' fallen branch to a young guy using the library's wi-fi while sitting at the library park. Another time we found her bringing an empty water bottle to a park maintenance guy at the park a block from our house, and staring at him, willing him to throw it!
