Only had an issue once trying to convert .LIT (MS reader format) took some time to find a program to do it, and now I can't remember the name of the thing...

Everything else has been in pdf and ebook formats that have worked fine so I really have not had much trouble reading anything I wanted on it. The program I use the most is openoffice writer to convert text to pdf's

The only issue I have with my nook is now its $100 less than what I paid for it ;)
