I'm testing a feat in survival here. NC Mountains aren't Maine or anything, but we have pretty cold winters lately. Get week spells where it isn't above 25-30 and single digits at night.

I am not even lighting the furnace!! lol

Since it is just me and the dogs here I am using an electric ceramic-type in my bedroom and cooking at night to heat kitchen area. I also placed an older type electric under the house in the event pipes freeze after day 2 or 3 in teens.

So far so good.. it isn't getting me much company, but I'm hoping to save about $500 over the winter.
