7. Try these, they represent a wider reflection of the band
I chose these because they're one off each of 4 different album and they reflect different sides of the band. We Looked Like Giants is DCfC doing what they do best, telling a story through a series of word "images" to form a fractured narrative that is more about feeling than plot. The long version of I Will Possess Your Heart is long, but is a good example of their longer "composed" instrumental (or nearly-instrumental) pieces, the long intro feeds into the feeling of the song: a song about obsession and coveting and stalking. Soul Meets Body is their take on an uptempo lyrically-driven pop; it's the first song I ever fell in love to. You Are A Tourist is the first single off their new album...it's not my favorite album, too much artifice and not terribly lyric-driven like their earlier work.

(I couldn't decide on songs, I changed my four tracks about 15 times. I'm a fan and I want to portray the band at its' best.)
