The Bigger Picture: Why MIHOP is completely plausible

My reasoning for believing "MIHOP" is completely plausible:

If you can believe that a small group of international, low-tech, terrorists can pull off 9/11, then it's completely plausible that a rogue element inside/part of/controlling sections of the USG could easily pull it off through compartmentalization, disassociation, and cover motives.

"Compartmentalization" means each aspect of the plot is compartmentalized so that no one directly involved in a particular aspect of the scenario knows that what they are doing is part of a larger orchestration of events. Various compartments are, the highjacking scenario, the dropping of the buildings, paving the way (military stand down), etc...

"Disassociation" means that people who were indirectly involved with aspects of a compartmentalized plan wouldn't associate their activities with what occured on 9/11 (the larger plan). For example, if you were an Air Force pilot that was ordered as part of a wargame scenario (Northern Vigilance, Vigilant Guardian) to fly away from the Eastern air corridor, you wouldn't associate that as part of the secret plan to allow the highjackers to reach their targets. That's just one example.

"Cover Motives" would include the people that were involved inside the government (CIA or Delta Force) in the rigging of the towers to come down. They would be motivated to keep it a secret because they would be told that rigging the buildings was to prevent the buildings from ever falling down laterally across many city blocks in the event of some terrorists attack that compromises the structural integrity of the buildings. The people selected for this compartmentalized operation are psychologically evaluated for patriotism, political loyalty and blind faith in authority (not to mention expertise). Even though after 9/11 they know what REALLY brought down the buildings, they are debriefed and reminded that their secrecy of the operation that "saved American lives" must never be made public, for the public would never understand it, and it would be made into a political weapon against their own leaders. They are told that the operation will remain sealed for at least 75 years (or whatever), and must remain secret to their graves. They comply, of course.

These are just a few of the apects of controlling an operation of this magnitude. It's completley feasible, and operations of this type have been proposed before, such as the operation Northwoods.

Ultimately, the people that do know the entire operation, the people controlling it believe in their hearts that 9/11 is part of a bigger global picture and sacrificing several thousand lives now is necessary for the National Security of our country because the public will then be motivated/feared into supporting a war that the people in charge plan on conducting.

I look forward to any comments and discussion from you guys concerning this "Bigger Picture". Please consider all aspects of 9/11 through these controlling features of "Compartmentalization" "Disassocation" & "Cover Motives" and bring up more examples of these concepts relating to your own research.
