because I'm a brawler by nature, and don't have a huge interest in appeasing anyone. However, I do agree with the author. It's insane to try to compromise with the Talibornigans and Rethugs. They have absolutely no interest in compromise! They'll be more than happy to snatch any concession we might make, then start pushing for more.

Perhaps I'm not really a good liberal, because the during the last serious discussion I had with a right-winger I was very much on the offensive and when he tried to "get" me with snide little insults and stereotypes, I got personal (but logical) back at him.

Do you believe the right-wing and Talibornigans are wrong? Then tell them! Enough of indulging these bullies!
