8. Not only that, notice the RW tilt to that piece.
Beazly shits on the papers. They pick out the ones for her to shit on (no doubt the pages with Democratic or critical commentaries about the president) and she does exactly what Bush does with the papers -- treats them with no respect.

That piece was promoting a Republican mythology about Bush (ie, his "I don't care what the media critics say about me, I do what I know is right" attitude) which is funny to read in a, yes, NEWSPAPER.

You'd think that a newspaper would be interested in protecting a sense of it's own social value. But, no. I guess there are more important things to the MSM (like whether the Republican FCC will relax rules that prevent their ownership of too many media outlets?).

I think that piece sort of undermines the credibility of the entire column.

And, if there were a story that Hillary were going to run for president that could be supported by facts that meet the criteria of responsible journalism, they wouldn't be reporting this story in the gossip column.

LIke the "Dog shit's on man's paper" story, the Hillary story is probably just designed to promote a mythology that will be used to encourage Republicans to donate to the party.
