9. Did you hear Dan Abrams (MSNBC) make his suggestion?
On his show this past Thursday, he went into his usual final comments at the end of the show.

His comments this time were why Bush should select Ted Olson as Sandra Day O'Conner's replacement. :silly: ..He went into a lengthy spiel about Olson's background, how conservative he is, his law background, etc..

His feeling was that Olson -- even though he's highly conservative, would get past Democrats easy enough. Although he didn't come out and say it, I was thinking he said that because of Barbara Olsen's death on 911.

Anyway.. I was surprised to hear Abrams say that Ted Olson would be the best pick in his opinion.

Made me wonder if he's on the short list?
