2. Well there it is
The fact is that this website is going to hate no matter who President Bush puts up. There is 0% chance of us liking or admiring one of his candidates. Once you accept that you are going to get someone who sucks, you can make value calls between degrees of suckiness. But as long as you still have the illusion that persistant work can get a decent candidate to the court with President Bush doing the nominating, well you see all the sucky candidates as basically the same.

That said, let's not forget that it was the Republicans who sunk Miers not the Liberals nor the Democrats.
