I'd take more than this from the republi-CON playbook. There are lots of things those scumbags do that are worth ripping off - because they WORK, and because they WIN.

The last several election cycles have proven that if you take the high road, it leads you straight over a cliff.

We HAVE to hit back, hit back hard, and yes, fight DIRTY.

I am not above mudwrestling if that's what it takes to WIN.

In politics, it's ALL about WINNING, and ONLY about WINNING.

And you can't change the tone of the national dialogue, or set the agenda, or lead the country into a genuinely kinder and better future, or govern squat - UNTIL AND UNLESS YOU WIN.

Besides, I think you get a begrudging respect from the bad guys if you beat them at their own game. They're not used to being force-fed a good stiff taste of their own medicine. Maybe that's what's needed. And we'll be glad to stop - when they do. If bush really wants to reach out and not let differences deteriorate into anger, he could start it by first CALLING OFF THE DOGS. I want to know - when he says shit like that (like I really believe it, in the first place) - whether he means it to apply to people like kkkarl rove, also.

And remember, Americans like a fighter. If you're not willing to fight hard, you become the object of scorn - and it's assumed you didn't really want it to begin with.
