even people who aren't in the power structure fancy themselves as part of the power structure. Lots of posturing here.

Add in the fact that half the people in the state are still fighting the Civil War and know nothing about the Revolutionary War. . .well, it's a strange place.

I will say Clark supporters gave him a rousing welcome out on 5th Street last night as he gave a short speech before the dinner. I was cheered and impressed by him as well. I hope he could carry that good feeling through the frost and snow at the actual dinner! DH and I like Clark, but we also like Edwards, Kucinich, and Sharpton. So we will be standing in the voting booth on Tuesday and the people waiting will be saying, "Criminy, vote already!"
