I like most anyone so far except for Bayh and I will only vote for Hillary in the general election if she gets the nomination. I have this hangup with the "all in the family" approach to politics. But if she wins the nomination I will concede my stance (temporarily) against elite families and their political dynasties when it comes to the executive branch. It borders too close to oligarchy for my democratic soul to take. That's why Bush was disqualified for me before he even opened his mouth to form a presidential platform in 1999 (other than the fact he was a republican and at the time my youth lent me the belief that indendents meant being open to the other party). But i'm willing to take one for the team on this one. I like Hillary. I do. It is not her. It is me.

Beyond that I see an open field of pretty strong candidates; much, much stronger than anything I see from the republicans. I'll happily take up the role of cheerleader and canvaser for candidates when that road must be crossed. I want to see them actually do something with their power for now, first. Then I'll decide on favorites (which gives Gore a leg up on the rest IMO since he has the freedom to pursue policies and action without the constraints of elected office). I'm in wait and see mode.
