voters are and they are solidly in the middle of the
bell curve. The country is tired of republican stupidity
in many ways including Iraq and that won't change with the
headstrong person residing in WH by 2008.

Someone like Bayh will be very amenable to independents and
even moderate repubs.

I don't care if his father was a popular politician, it is
still not easy for a democrat to get elected statewide in
Indiana which has voted repub in every presidential election
for half a century. If Bayh can do it again and again in
Indiana, he can do it in Iowa, MO, OH, CO, etc.

So what would you rather have...Bayh or Rudy or McCain or Mitt?
I will take Bayh although I am rooting for Hillary is she makes it.
