How about another possibility: a misunderstanding?

Two examples of "multiple, multi-tonne impacts detonating on Bush's credibility" are the AWOL case (attesting to early indicators of his character and integrity weakness) and his shamelessly manipulating to push and conduct a needless war.

The "intern" affair is what I consider "verbal debris flying around" - aimed at no less than mucking up the electoral waters.

In essence, that is what I consider the Big Plan of Bush's peddlers.

So, I didn't manipulate your statement.

But I did tweak the fabulous BS that is the whole "Kerry intern" circus into a super secret plan to re-launch the General, as a stand-in ready to replace Kerry's demise at the last minute, and give Bush an October surprise.

Call that a twisted sense of humor if you like... But, if you allow me, I do invite you to stop reading ill will or ill intention where there wasn't and isn't.
