a) We are safer (but not really)
b) The surge is working (but that's not really what I meant)
c) Don't talk to dictators (but I once said it was OK)
d) Don't make blanket statements regarding the use of nuclear weapons (but I did)
e) Terrorism is not a Republican issue or Democratic issue (but I'm going to try and use it to my advantage in the campaign anyway)

Each week she makes at least one statement that is at odds with a prior statement. That's not bashing; it's a fact. And if her supporters are at all interested why her ratings for trustworthiness are so low (she scores half as high as Obama on that trait in Iowa http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/polls/postpoll_080307.html?hpid=topnews), they'll start paying attention.

But they won't.
