but not all that much more. Check the ratings after it's over.

The debates just aren't all that popular, and my point is still that Clark doesn't lose a thing not going there.

If he and Sharpton showed up, everyone gets the same few minutes to say something. It better be damn good to stand out in that crowd.

My take is that this debate is a feelgood for Iowans and means little in the long term. The whole caucus is now an exercise in stalling Dean so everyone else can get a little breathing room, so why show up if you can't win the 15% but can get the benefit of everyone else dumping on Dean?
