Figuratively, and literally. They don't want a nuclear Iran, but if they get the weapon, they certainly don't want fallout coming into their country if their Neighbor is 'totally obliterated'. They probably also do not want to suffer the fallout among hardliners(think how Osama supposedly got inspired) who would stand to only gain more power.
