12. I thought he should have bought a different house, further away.
And NEAR an old-school, liturgical, predominantly black church with a great Sunday school and a good daycare. Walking distance near, if possible.

That way, he could have slid out of the Wright mess by saying, "Hey, it's right up the street, the kids love the Sunday school...nothing against you, but it's unreasonable to commute an hour to church...we'll 'visit' you every so often."

Of course, Wright may have blown up then--after all, Obama was worth tens of thousands to him, in tithes. But then, it would be over and history by now.
