What’s not to respect and enjoy about a woman who felt passionate enough about politics and the state of local affairs to run and be elected to city council, mayor and to the highest political job in Alaska: governor. What’s not to respect and enjoy about a woman who can raise seemingly great children, get her job done in office and still look attractive. Many women face her same challenges, sans higher office. What’s not to respect and enjoy about a woman who kills her family’s dinner? Many of us don’t have that opportunity and kvetch about meat prices going up in our markets. I often think about what squirrel meat might taste like but haven’t gone the distance it takes to off the annoying critters. All that said about respect and enjoyment, as a woman, I just don’t agree with Sarah’s politics, her anti-choice position, and the fact that she is a stroke away from the Presidency if elected. The further selection of Supreme Court justices is a large reason I wouldn’t want another four years of Republicans, especially since, as a member of Feminist for Life, Sarah’s probably well acquainted with Justice Robert’s wife, another member of FOL. Many people have done and will do a thorough analysis of Ms. Palin, but I’d just say she’s a woman who has earned respect and we can enjoy watching her run, while making sure that she doesn’t win. And any reference of her to Hillary in expertise is just "palin" by comparison.
