I agree if they had any dignity they won't support this team. But there are Republicans candidates at all levels with more moderate views.

And my belief is that we should NOT abandon any major institution. For example the military or religious groups. I think it's better to have LGTB in the military and to fight to change the culture. And given that the Republican are about 1/2 the voting block then it's good to have someone on board, inside. Someone to speak out at county and state conventions. In the end it is more than just voting. It's being in the party to drive the party to change.

It's not like the Democratic Party was always kind to gays. You have to work with them. To push change. I have to part ways with the Log Cabin Republicans if they endorse or vote for the Republican presidential ticket. But if they are there at the state and county conventions being a brave voice to push for a new direction then I think that is admirable.
