Is Anyone Else Relieved McCain Didn't Choose Bloomberg For VP?

I always felt a McCain/Bloomberg ticket would be our greatest threat (followed by McCain/Lieberman), and now i'm really relieved he didn't make that choice because it would be more difficult for us to win the economic debate against that ticket.

At first I was worried about Palin, as i'm sure many of you were, but now i'm actually kinda happy McCain took that gamble because I think her appeal is sinking pretty quickly. People see that she doesn't have the knowledge for the position and they're turning away from her. They're also sing her as divisive and extreme.

Bloomberg would have been the opposite of those things. He would have been seen as incredibly knowledgeable, bi-partisan, and moderate. He would have been an excellent choice for the McCain camp and i'm now very relieved he wasn't chosen.

Not that I don't think Obama/Biden could have beaten that ticket, I just think it would been a tough fight.
