It was similar in elementary but less often. The purpose is to create fear so kids would abstain from sex. Of course it doesn't work since Catholic girls I think are the most sexually active people I know...Well really you get two types. The saint who thinks kissing is wrong (my group) and you get the Madonnas who've done it all and the dog. In any event, the idea is to promote abstenance.

I'm so used to it, it doesn't bug me. However, this scenario just seems weird to me. I'm not saying it's not true, but when I first read I had my doubts.
