a progressive with foreign policy chops would NOT be establishment, at all.

BTW....establishment Dem powerstructure HATES Kerry - you do know that they sided with Reagan and Bush on his IranContra policy and were angry that Kerry kept investigating it and uncovered the corruption. They were FURTHER pissed at him for BCCI which led to the closing of the biggest international bank that just happened to be the world's biggest moneylaunderer for drugs, arms, and global terror networks who were funded by those operations.

ALOT of powerful financiers lost millions and billions when Kerry got BCCI closed down.

One of the biggest misconceptions about Kerry is that he is an establishment figure. Just because someone has been around a long time doesn't mean he's part of establishment - in fact, Kerry was ostracized by most of DC including his own party during BCCI investigations which he led for 5 1/2 years.
