He saw DeLay going down the toilet, and considered him an easy loss, since most of his dirty work was already done(the gerrymandering and dirty elections were already done). The only good thing to come of it, is that the other Repukes might see how easily they will be cut loose after they have served their purpose in the plans of KKKarl Rove.
