38. This is such a wonderful thread! I have not been around lately
so, I thought I would drop in to say hello!:hi: I hope that you are all well, and enjoying this lovely spring weather.

Funny NJ Cher that you should mention your relating to the trees. I, too, have this same relationship with trees, in general. And, I believe that my youngest son (9 yrs) does too. I can remember when I was 14 and the neighbors began to spray their trees. I ran in the house and sat by the phone crying, trying to find the courage to call them and ask them to please stop.

I think we are born with it- ie, empathy toward things in nature.

My next door neighbor just cut down a beautiful silver maple. The diameter of the trunk measured 11 feet across!! He is putting in a pool. Just seconds before the tree guys began to cut I noticed a mama raccoon sitting inside a hole near the top of the tree! She looked just like a miniature panda. I snapped a photo of her. Luckily she had not had her babies yet, and she scampered off to find some peace elsewhere. Ugh!

I so love what is said in the "Celestine Prophecy" by James Redfield. He says that one day man will begin to replace parking lots and strip malls with forests because all of humankind will finally come to realize and appreciate the spiritual value of the old-growth forests. Whenever I have the chance I visit Muir (?sp) Woods in CA, and I always notice have rejuvenated I feel afterwards!!

Also, Woodsprite, I hope you are feeling well. I feel I must tell you that my psychic told me several years ago that a tsunami would hit NJ. She was very specific about it being NJ. I told her, at the time, that I had heard that Virginia Beach area might be susceptible to this and she said: "No. It will happen in NJ". She did not give a time line. I should mention that she is extremely accurate. She even told me about 9/11 two years before it happened!! She told me that "Terrorists would be hijacking planes up and down the eastcoast...you know, like at the World Trade Center" - These were her exact words. Of course, I did not know what on earth she was talking about at the time.
Anyway, I hope that your drive does not take you along the Jersey coastline en route to the Carolinas.

About a month ago my youngest son was taking a bath and when I walked in I noticed that he had been crying. So, I asked him why and he said that he was just "sad that when Sunny (our little 7-yr-0ld Corgi) dies he won't remember me". "Since I cannot remember my past lifetimes, I guess he won't be able to remember his either". Then last week he asked me to describe to him what happens when an animal dies and crosses over.

I guess he could feel that something was going to happen to our little Sunny dog. Because last weekend our beloved Sunny herniated a disc in his back and we had to put him to sleep.
