My mind was yelling "fire" [View All]

I sorta' hate to start a thread about one psychic incident but this one is pretty interesting.

Last Tuesday I started getting visions of a fire. The pics in my head were very much like how the psychic shows represent psychic visions.* I discounted the first one, though, as I'd recently had a conversation with someone about a fire. I figured the vision was related to the conversation.

But it kept up over the week. I decided to check my fire alarms. I did find one that needed to be fixed.

I still kept getting these flashes. In one case, I saw some yellow legal pad paper going up in flames. The yellow legal pad was on the desk.

OK, so tonight in my evening class, I called on a student to do her presentation and she said she wasn't prepared. She mentioned something about an email but I hadn't received the email. I went on to the next student.

After class was over, this student stayed to talk with me. The first thing she said was, "I'm sorry I couldn't present tonight. My notes and everything went up in flames when my house burned down last Wednesday." (Note that I started having the visions on Tuesday.)

I am telling you, I just about fainted. I unfortunately burst out, "So it was you!" That put me in the position of having to explain. It was OK, though. The student is understanding toward things of this nature.

Then the yellow pad of notes made sense because she explained that her chapter outlines and book had gone up in smoke, too. She turned in her last round of outlines on yellow legal paper.

It just amazes me how some things can be tuned into. I tuned into her homework being destroyed.

The student is a sweetheart. She's maybe 30 years old, very attractive, and lives with her mother. She works f-t and is trying to finish her degree for a career in communications. Interestingly, throughout all the flashes of fire, I never once thought of her personally, though.

I asked how the fire started and she said the firefighters remarked that they'd had a number of fires where it appeared to start near the DirectTV box. Apparently it "burns hot."

*this isn't usually how it is for me. It usually is like something just gets entered into my brain. Then when I become aware of it, it is like hitting "refresh" or tapping F5.
