He lost his license for a year but didn't even have to pay a fine, even though he killed someone when he hit a car while driving drunk.

Years later, while also driving drunk with my father as a passenger, the same uncle hit another car head on that nearly killed my dad (he was on life support for a little while, but eventually made a complete recovery). My mom's uncle walked away yet another time with only a slap on the wrist.

Would it surprise anyone to know that he's now a right-wing fundie who passes judgement on all and sundry for their sinful lives?
