2. Bush doesn't have to 'acknowlege' McCain
McCain is the petitioner here. He's been courting the Bushies for their support of his presidential candidacy, and it seems according to Hartman that Junior's price is a VP slot for his baby bro as well as the usual bowing, scraping and general ass-kissing he considers his rightful due.
