it might just be a turning point--a way to revive the Democratic party. So many of them seem to be just the way the Repubs characterize them: far too easiliy intimidated. Even tough old Harry Reid was showing signs of defeat.
Kerry is showing how to be the opposition--now maybe others will do the same. We know it's doing some good--the other side is on the attack. This is as good a time to take a stand as any. I think Kerry just got to the point where he had to act. At the risk of pulling up the old cliche--he's decided to turn the boat into the shore. Go on the offensive, just when the opposition thinks it's safe.
