28. Rove Must Be In Trouble Again...
Looks like Halperin is playing stenographer again...with Barabara Comstock's dirty, slimy fingerprints all over this.

Anyone else seeing a pattern here...whenever some bad news about someone in this regime is about to come down, the astroturf is laid to find a Democrat to slime or play "they did it, too"...based purely on rumor or guilt by association. When this kind of bone is tossed out, it's a sign something else is really happening and this is a media "bait & switch" game that works with the talking heads.

Note how no names are listed...plenty of room for fodder. Pick your most demonized Democrat and surely he must be involved here somewhere. We're already seeing it in this thread with the guilt by Murtha meme sinking in. This gives the corporate media...and especially hate radio...the latitude and cover to drag anyone and everyone through the mud and plays into previous repugnican astroturfing.

Be assured Harry Reid's name will come up again. The Repugnican hate machine is out to get him. They couldn't "Daschele him" and now want to find something/anything that diverts attention from the forthcomming indictments of more Repugnicans who DID take money from Abramoff or Mitchell Wade or any of a number of festering investigations.

Little has been said about those Abramoff visits to Rove, but that doesn't mean it hasn't gotten some type of DOJ attention. Another interesting part of this story that is being ignored is Abramoff is being locked up...meaning he's not as valuable to prosecutors than he was previously...or that they're using this tactic to squeeze him further to cough up more about the higher ups I have a feeling he's still protecting.
